Dog is purebred. Pedigree, if furnished, is correct.
Puppy must be paid for in full
before taking possession. If pup is not paid in full by age 8 weeks or if pup is over 8 weeks, within one month of paying
deposit a boarding fee of $15 a week will be charged and must be paid before puppy is released to buyer.
Every effort has been made
by the seller to insure dog is delivered in a healthy sound condition. Puppy has received proper vaccinations and worming
appropriate for it’s age.
A licensed veterinarian must
examine pup within 48 hours of receipt and seller must be notified by email of results of this examination by midnight of
day of exam. During initial exam should your veterinarian find the puppy to be a poor health risk or detect any physical health
problem that would require further veterinary care (other than required vaccinations
and/or treatment for any type of parasite or bacteria, internal or external) you must contact seller within 24 hours. A diagnosis
of coccidiosis, giarrdia, parasites, or any other type of bacterial infection does not render your puppy unhealthy. The failure
of this will result in the cancellation of this guarantee.
Buyer agrees to provide the
pup with routine preventative care such as but not limited to:
- Annual physical exam by your vet.
- Follow vet guidelines on deworming, vaccinations, and heartworm prevention.
- Provide a premium food
- House the animal correctly, no chains in the backyard.
Pup is guaranteed against Parvo
virus and Distemper for 48 hours upon arrival to buyer. Buyer must have ELISA test performed within this 48 hours if claiming
either viruses
This puppy is guaranteed until
1 year of age against fatal and life altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes
severe hip dysplasia, which hampers a dog’s movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart,
pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening nature. If this puppy dies within the 1 year time frame,
the buyer will pay to have a necropsy done and if reason is found to be congenital, the seller will replace puppy.
Seller is not responsible for
any vet bills. Buyer is aware that owning a pet means trips to the vet and vet bills and understands that he/she will be responsible
for any and all vet bills.
A puppy showing any serious
genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:
- Animal must show the defect by 1 year of age. Seller must be notified of the problem within 2 business
days of the licensed veterinarian’s determination and have two reports from two unassociated veterinarians stating the
same problem. This must be written on the veterinarian’s letterhead stationary.
- Provide legible copies of the puppy’s medical records showing regular veterinary check ups, current
vaccinations, deworming and heartworm prevention.
- A puppy with a defect must be returned or euthanized with the prior permission of the seller to qualify
for a replacement puppy. If puppy is euthanized without seller’s permission, this guarantee will be null and void and
no replacement puppy will be given.
- This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, demodex mange, inguinal or umbilical
hernias, fleas, worms, ticks, or ear mites, coccidia and kennel cough, which is common in puppies that are shipped and usually
caused by bacteria. Kennel cough is self-limiting, like the common cold and must run its course. Kennel cough on it’s
own is not life threatening.
- There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid
dysfunction, demdodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.
- Puppies' hips and elbows are guaranteed for the first year from any dysplasia caused by a genetic defect as deemed
by 2 licensed veterinarians of Breeders choice. Guarantee does not include dysplasia from, but not limited to the following:
Poor
Nutrition
Over supplementation
Mistreatment
Trauma
Injury from jumping or falling
Accidents not in the Breeders
control
- Supplements are not required for mastiff pups to grow properly. All that is required is a good quality dog food for
proper growth and nutrition. Supplements can actually do more harm than good as they encourage faster growth which can be
detrimental to your dogs growth cycle. This is a slow growing breed, taking years to achieve full growth, and using
supplements unnaturally speeds their natural growth cycle. Therefore if you use supplements of any kind for your pup this
guarantee will be null and void. No pup will be replaced that has been given supplements.
- This guarantee does not cover what in
the bulldog breed is considered normal such
as but not limited to elongated soft palate common to the breed, cherry eye(s) this condition is caused by bullies having
a third eyelid, entropion, allergies, stenotic nares (pinched nostrils), loose knee joints this normally correct itself as
the puppy grows, plays and strengthens the ligaments and muscles, demodex mange, and hip dysphasia. Due
to the structure and formation of bulldogs the above conditions are not covered under this guarantee.
There are a few reasons
that we exclude hips from our coverage.
1) Because
of the angularity and frame structure of Bulldogs, a person could make the case that every bulldog (in theory) is displastic
to a degree. Much of what could be clinically classified as displasia via X-ray, has no negative impact on the dog in
terms of discomfort or physical limitations and is a result of breed characteristics that are specified in breed standards.
2)
There are factors other than genetics that contribute to Displasia. Including, but not limited to, the slope that a dogs lives
on, the floor surface, the activities the dog participates in.
- Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
- All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. No cash refunds.
- Buyer is responsible for ALL transportation costs to and from the Seller on a replacement puppy.
- Returned puppy must be returned to the Seller in good condition, other than the specified problem at
the buyer’s expense. The buyer will then qualify for a replacement puppy.
- Replacement puppy will be agreed upon by both buyer and seller but may not be from the same litter.
Puppy will be replaced when a suitable puppy of the same quality becomes available.
- If for any reason buyer refuses replacement puppy under any circumstance then this agreement shall be
considered completed and fulfilled and no other replacement puppy will be offered. Buyer understands that any monies paid
to seller will be forfeited, as there are no cash refunds.
- Any physical problem, which is or could be the result of injury, is not covered under this guarantee.
There is no guarantee or warranty
that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of breeding or show potential.
This contract is good for the
original buyer and is not transferable.
If at any point you cannot
care for or keep your puppy for any reason, the animal must be returned to the breeder at once. Breeders retain first right
of refusal on all animals. If this puppy is given or sold to a third party without
the sellers consent then this agreement is void.
This agreement is null and
void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. By signing this agreement both parties agree to be bound by all terms
set forth and that the buyer will take proper care of their new puppy. The buyer fully agrees that if it is found that your
puppy has been mistreated, neglected, or abused and such acts have endangered the health or mental state of this animal, the
animal will be returned at once free of charge to the breeder. You also fully agree that there will be no refunds or replacements
in the above type events. If you do not know how to care for your puppy or have any questions please ask, we will be happy
to help you.
This agreement shall be deemed a legal and binding agreement and is under the jurisdiction of the State
of West Virginia, in the County of Marion. It is further agreed that the place of venue shall be Marion County, West Virginia.
